I wrote about my unusual journey from opera singer to becoming a mathematician in Chapter 7 of Living Proof, a joint publication by the AMS and the MAA.

I put together a special issue of MAA Focus on Math + Travel with fellow avid traveler, Tom Wright. In addition to curating and editing the articles, I wrote a Lonely Planet-style travel guide to mathematical sightseeing around the world and took photos of "Categories for the Working Mathematician" in different countries.
